Performance Terms and Conditions
Please read the Booking & Performances Terms & Conditions carefully as they incorporate the basis upon which bookings and performances are accepted by Te Atawhai Puumanawa.
Bookings:
All Performance Bookings MUST be recieved by our office no later than 17 days prior to the performance date as specified by the client (You) submitting this Performance Booking Form.
Bookings are subject to availability. By paying the 50% deposit, the client will be deemed to have understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions and made a booking for your nominated Performance Type. Te Atawhai Puumanawa will notify you in the event the booking has been declined and the client deposit will be refunded in FULL (less transfer fees) if one was paid.
Client Cancellation & Refunds of BOOKING:
A FULL 100% deposit refund will be issued:
- ONLY if the BOOKING cancellation is RECIEVED IN WRITING by Te Atawhai Puumanawa at [email protected];
- Your cancellation request MUST be recieved by our office no later than 15 days prior to the scheduled performance date.
Client Cancellation & Refunds of PERFORMANCE:
A 25% deposit refund will be issued:
- ONLY if the PERFORMANCE cancellation is RECIEVED IN WRITING by Te Atawhai Puumanawa;
- Your performance cancellation request MUST be recieved by our office no later than 8-14 days prior to the scheduled performance date.
A 0% deposit refund will be issued:
- If the PERFORMANCE cancellation was NOT recieved in writing by Te Atawhai Puumanawa;
- If the performance cancellation request was NOT recieved by our office 7 days prior to the scheduled performance date.
Cancellation by Te Atawhai Puumanawa:
Te Atawhai Puumanawa reserves the right to cancel a scheduled booked performance at any time prior to the scheduled booking date. In which case, any deposit or other payments made by the client shall be 100% refunded subject to Te Atawhai Puumanawa receiving refunds from third party providers .i.e. Bus Hirage, hall hire for practices, uniform and equipment maintenance. An alternate date, suitable to the client may be provided in lieu. The client shall have no right to claim damages from Te Atawhai Puumanawa.
Performance Payment Terms:
A 50% deposit is required from the client upon making a booking to secure their nominated performance type. The client submitting the booking form warrants that he or she has the authority of the client’s therein designated, whether by name or not, to make this booking on their behalf, subject to the conditions contained herein. The nominated performance type is reserved for the client on acceptance of the deposit payment by Te Atawhai Puumanawa. Final 50% Payment is due, AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE PERFORMANCE. The clients’ booking is deemed confirmed once full payment has been confirmed as received by Te Atawhai Puumanawa. Te Atawhai Puumanawa may accept further bookings after this date subject to availability.
Payment Methods:
Clients can pay by credit card (Visa and Mastercard), EFTPOS, direct funds transfer, or direct debit into Te Atawhai Puumanawa’s nominated bank account.
Fuel & Travel Distance Surcharge:
The fuel and travel distance surcharge (FTDS), as outlined below, is based on, and ONLY applies where the performance venue/destination exceeds 25km, 50kms and 100kms (within the state of Victoria) from our base in Truganina, Melbourne, Victoria, 3029.

Pricing Inclusions:
Your performance fee includes transportation and logistics for performers/administrators of Te Atawhai Puumanawa; costume handling, laundering and storage; and equipment maintenace and cleaning.
Price and Validity:
Prices are provided as a guide only and may vary due to changes in taxes or changes due to fluctuations in fuel rates or bus hirage for the group to travel in. Please check all prices & information with the Te Atawhai Puumanawa Booking Liaison Officer. Please note that the price of your performance type may change at any time if any taxes or changes are introduced or varied, even after you have paid part of the quoted performance price. If we have to change any part of your booking for reasons beyond our control, we will notify you.
Goods and Services Tax (GST):
All prices are inclusive of GST where applicable.
Force Majeure:
Neither Te Atawhai Puumanawa nor the client shall be liable for failure to appear or perform its obligations under this agreement in the event that such failure is caused by or due to the acts or regulations of public authorities, labor difficulties, civil tumult, inclement weather, strike, epidemic, interruption or delay of transportation service, or any other legitimate cause beyond the control of Te Atawhai Puumanawa or the client.
Photography, Videography & Audio – (Private Events):
The client shall not, and shall not permit any person to, photograph, record, broadcast or digitally stream in any manner whatsoever, Te Atawhai Puumanawa’s performance without prior express written consent from Te Atawhai Puumanawa Tutors and/or the Booking Liaison Officer. Te Atawhai Puumanawa and/or their designees shall have the right to record the performance and to use the recordings as Te Atawhai Puumanawa sees fit. The client shall have no interest or rights of any kind whatsoever in or to any such recordings of Te Atawhai Puumanawa’s performance during this engagement.
The client also agrees to ensure, in every way possible, that this directive is communicated to its audience, patrons, administrative staff, security, stakeholders and/or third-party vendors and suppliers.
Dressing Room:
Dressing Room: The client shall provide a safe, clean dressing room(s) with either lock(s) or suitable security personnel, and ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to the stage or backstage area during the performance. Te Atawhai Puumanawa will provide names of persons or guests authorized to be backstage. The client shall be responsible for any theft or damage to the equipment of Te Atawhai Puumanawa that may occur during the time that the equipment is a located on the client’s premise.
